Tips for making your vehicle more fuel efficient
Drive defensively and cautionsly to help reduce fuel comsumption
Your car burns gas the fastest when your accelerating. If you have a lead foot, or find yourself always pulling away from other traffic at a stop light, slow down. You'll not only be a safer and more courteous driver, but you'll also reduce your car's fuel consumption as well.
When you see a light ahead turning red, don't speed up to it, let your foot off the pedal and coast to the light. Having your engine idle, or run at a lower RPM while your coasting will reduce your car's need for gas, and improve fuel efficiency.
Estimated MPG increase: 2 - 10%
